A Demoness' Entrance « Thread Started on Dec 7, 2005, 2:37pm »
Cold. Just cold. The entrance itself was cold, the Ice-Demoness herself was used to it though. She had grown used to people backing away when she came closer. Probably just the look on her face; she almost always looked like she didn't like the place or something, though she never complained.
The white marble floor was nice to look at, almost enchanting where she walked, hoping to meet someone of her own kind. Someone else with powers like her own, though she probable wouldn't find anyone with a touch as cold as her own; the touch of ice.
Celeste's lips were painted red, very red, though suiting her pale skin. The hands of the Demoness was glowed with black velvet to keep her from freezing everything. Keeping her from freezing thing to the death. Other than the velvet gloves, she wore a black dress of velvet, reaching to the floor, and a pair of black boots, made for running, though nice.
Her ice-blue eyes searched for another Demon to help her settle down. Another Demon or maybe someone else; it didn't matter as long as no angels showed. Something she wouldn't dare to hurt would be nice. Something like a Demon or Fallen Angel.
"Hello?" she asked quietly while admiring the marble floor and the black stoned walls. She walked slowly, stepping gently on the floor, and barely making any noises. Why should she allow anyone to hear her if there were enemies around? She didn't want her entrance spoiled by some stupid enemies.

"Hello," fiery tones returned, the source as of no particular place, no particular time, no particular mood.
Blank. Cold. Crisp as the morning dew, searing as a finger upon a hot iron.
Lavender stood in the center of the hall, her almost-human-like figure still as the marble her pale complexion reflected, a sharp eyebrow arched accordingly, perfectly formed lips speaking perfectly formed and accented words, of which did not carry across the hall, but reached directly to the new arrival, as if Lavender were speaking directly before her.
Which she was.
The Goddess of Shadow suddenly was, standing directly before her, a semblance to what might have been a smile upon her lips.

Celeste spun around at the sound of another's voice before she localized it. The Goddess of Shadow, standing there in front of her, making her almost shiver with fear. This was one she would never dear to hurt or offend; she was so old and powerful. She could easily tell this from her appearance.
She advanced a few steps before she bowed her head in respect. "Thank you, my Lady," she replied respectful. She had no idea what she was called, but had heard of her; the name had slipped, though many things slipped her mind lately. "I am glad to be here at last," she replied in almost a fearful whisper, her breath cold as ice.
{Sorry for the crappy post =/ I have no imagination today...}

A small curious spark of a smile hinted at her lips.
"Good," she murmured, clasping her hands behind her back, her eyes taking in the entire of the hall itself, with a slight interest, almost.
"I am Lavender," she said quietly, tones calmed, and interested as she watched the newest arrival, "and I welcome you to Shadow. You might find interest in various places, though, who am I to say what you like."

Celeste listened carefully to what Lavender said, judging it, wondering if she should explore the lands herself; why not? After all, she wanted to enjoy her stay, then she should also know as much as possible about it.
"Nice to meet you Lavender. I think I'll leave again, only to explore your land." The words were said as she looked around herself once more, finding the entrance huge and interesting.
Her huge white wings appeared at her back, ready to take her away, as she smiled at Lavender. "Maybe I see you some other time. Bye." With this she had turned and left the room. It was exploring time!
